The Hamden Art League, in cooperation with the Hamden Arts Commission takes pleasure in posting the following selection of art classes.



March 2016 News
John Massimino is conducting a critique in Clinton on March 24th, April 7th and 21st as well as May 5th to be held at the 1st Church of Christ Congregational Church, 55 church Street, Clinton CT across from the Clinton townhall.
Time: 9:30 to noon.

Drawing Classes taught by Liz Scott (Elizabeth Hundt Scott) April and May 2016
"BUILD YOUR DRAWING SKILLS"
Learn what you would have in college without grades!
Working from interesting still life set-ups, practice free-hand drawing to gain skill and confidence. This class will give you the skills necessary to make you a stronger artist in any media.

7 Thursdays starting April 7, from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon
Cost: $135 ($145 for Non-Cheshire Residents)

WORKSHOPS:
1. “DRAW, DRAW, DRAW! What’s For Breakfast Still Life” (Teens/Adults)
Learn how to draw objects accurately and in correct proportion through observation. Drawing practice is essential for all levels of artists. Students will complete a drawing in 3 sessions from a still life of fry pan, eggs, fruits and coffee mug.

Saturdays: April 16, 23, 30, from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon
Cost: $65 ($75 for Non-Cheshire Residents)

2. “DRAW, DRAW, DRAW! Soup’s On” (Teens/Adults)
Learn how to draw objects accurately and in correct proportion through observation. Drawing practice is essential for all levels of artists. Students will complete a drawing in 3 sessions from a still life of colorful soup pot, cutting board, squash and root vegetables.

Saturdays: May 7, 14, 21, from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon
Cost: $65 ($75 for Non-Cheshire Residents)
